my only hesitation to turbo is that i dont necessarily "want" that much power... this is my 2wd pickemup truck with almost 200k on it that gets driven over 20k a year through snowbanks and into lakes and treated like it's a utv.

That's the best part of a turbo. Cam specs are pretty tame and if you stay out of boost it drives like a normal, N/A engine. Turn up the wick and wreck shit.
