Your slicks and skinnies really helped you get high 12s. Just my opinion, but when I see a car with slicks and skinnies running 13s I think to myself, RICER! People always bitch at import owners for putting wings on their car because FWD doesn't require much downforce on the rear wheels. Same thing can be said for a car that has slicks and skinnies running 13s! Slicks and skinnies aren't produced for looks, so driving around with them on because you think they look cool is just plain stupid, they are made for pure performance at the drag strip, and when you run 13s at the drag strip, you look like a fool.

I don't doubt your car could hit 10s with a little bit of nitrous. Got a friend with H/C ,DRs and torque converter running 11.6 all day long. Much easier to get an auto into 10s than a manual.

1.88 was my best 60'. There is a lot more in there. I'm putting a line lock in so I can get the tires heated properly, which was a big problem for me this first time out.

If you can get a good deal and can spare the cash/space to store them, why not? You never know how far you're going to mod a car, and those could be more useful/appropriate as the build gets more extreme.

I wouldn't buy the Bogart set-up you can't street drive them at all. But if you like them, they are at a very, very good price.

My Slick/Skinny set up helped me drop .4 at the track because #1 I could hook, and #2 they are so much damn lighter then stock rims, espcially those huge TT2's!!!
