Damn thats light for a "larger" wheel

My Forged 20" wheels were the same way. The difference in weight in the front to back was due more to the hub mounting area than the wheel width. The design of the face and barrel is meant to save weight without having issues with strength. Computer-aided designs FTW!

No, they will see both street and strip. I will be ordering another pair of rear wheels that are 20x10.5 (same exact wheel) for more twistie/turn driving.
Nice. Love that idea. Know what street tires you’re gonna go with? Planning on getting new wheels and tires for the r8 and not sure what to get. Leaning toward hankook for value.

For the drag rears which will be a Mickey Thompson ET Street R in a 305/45R18

For the Twistie rears it will probably be the Toyo R888R in a 305/35R20

Proxes-R888R.jpg

For the fronts I am thinking the Kumho Ecsta PS91 in a 285/35R20
