If you want to run a 28" tall tire, Hoosier makes an actual radial tire that will work. Not street legal, but there is a guy running these on his stick Whipple car getting into the lower 1.4x on his 60 foot times at the track.Yeah 20x10’s up front and 18x10.5’s in the back. The plan is to run a 305/45/18 size tire.
I still need to order a pair of 20x10.5’s

Have you plugged all your info into a gear calculator? Plug some info in to see where you'll be at by the end of the quarter mile to see if the taller tire is necessary. I imagine you'd be crossing the traps at the top of 4th?I want the taller tire for sure.

Here's a couple calculators that will let you know what speed/rpm you'll be at per gear. Just need to plug in the specifics for your car.

What will the 28” tire put you at rpm wise?
Need to get into top of 4th time for 4.30s [emoji1787]Yeah I need to shift into 4th. I was trapping around 130 and top of 3rd is around 120ish.
What will the 28” tire put you at rpm wise?
A smaller tire should get my 60' down assuming traction is perfect, but a bigger tire will net me more mph on the big end right?
This car is very serious.
