Had pretty good luck when I was selling the trans am on some local Facebook groups. However I did have someone ask if he could come from Iowa to buy it and then drive it home.

I was like well..... it’s 15 degrees out at the time with possible rain/sleet depending on the day. It’s a car on radials and skinnies.

He just kept asking “well do you think the car would make it? You said it was a street/strip car”

I just couldn’t fathom the stupidity.

I’ve literally only taken the money from one person ever, and one of the people who inquired about a “free” $20 coffee table I had was so nice and was waiting for her husband to get off work to use his truck, but so concerned it would be gone I offered to drop it off for her.

After the text conversation ends was when his wife called me and said they were surrounded by trailers.

Motherfuckers we’re in the back of the Walmart in the loading dock.

Guy was tatted up Hispanic dude in ripped up
black jeans and a denim blue misfits jacket. I got a contact high from 4’ away.

Hit me at $3,500 and I just started walking back to the truck to leave. Surprise surprise he gave me the $4,500 lol.

This is about what I deal with 12+ hours a day, every day. Worse still in the spring when I’m moving a bunch of the smaller equipment.

I had three messages on one of my trucks come in while the first guy was there test driving it. That’s another great one, I just show them the messages lol. Hey man, if you don’t want it I’m sure these guys will take it.
