I dunno, for $120 I'd probably be welding in a piece of bar with the MIG or something. If you're serious enough to be doing coil overs etc. sure couldn't hurt stuff to stiffen it in the back. Not like there's a ton of metal there.

The coil overs have been on for a while. I thought about that but at the same time welding under the car directly above my head doesn’t sound fun

Bolt in is the way to go. Future service will thank you. Just make sure you let the weight off the coil overs when bolting it in to get the best results.

She needs new quarter panels, trunk floor, core support on passenger side and some small patch work on the fenders. Not the end of the world but some shit to do. The vinyl top really fucked this car at the 1/4 panel seam to the roof. Roof seems solid though. Planning on deleting the top
