not at all- recent rain maps im looking at looks like most the chain watershed was "saved"

Yeah... I was gone all weekend and expected to come home to destruction. I was watching the levels and it does not look like the rain effected the system much. Unless it is still coming. My rain gauge was maxed out at 1.5 inches. My guess we didn't get the 5 inches they were calling for?

Hopefully they shut the gates on the McHenry dam. Lower is still 1.5 feet from no-restrictions pending a DNR open.

Edit: not like anyone from the DNR/State will be making any decisions over the weekend anyway.

september avg rainfall is 3.5 inches, october avg rainfall is 3.1.

nothing like getting 5 months of rainfall in 4 weeks.

"

Its cool tho. The lakes were opened for full boating and Blarneys Drink Island Dry and River Shiver happened. Over the weekend.

we got TWICE as much rain as was predicted... so... maybe get all pissed at the meteorologists?
