I have a go to flash light that's super bright and reliable. Problem is it's made by MONSTER so I really don't know who made it... Maybe I can post pics and somebody can tell

What’s odd is I have 2 Olight S1R 2’s that are supposed to be 6500k... and one of them is warmer than the other. Both fully charged.

Exactly. There's always going to be some variation. When you get into large CREE's and things of that you can do your best to minimize it by staying in the same bin of LED's but there can be some small variation, especially if they're from different BINs.

Got my Noctigon KR4 today. SST20 4000K 95CRI LED’s. Can definitely tell a difference in color rendition over the 5000k XPL-HI in my D4V2’s. Rear E-clicky button has nice feed back and the micro knurling is very pleasant. Pictured with my beat D4V2 work light.

This new Baton 3 power bank setup is pretty cool. I would be buying this if I didn’t already have two S1R 2’s.

I saw that as well. I like the setup.

Ordered an Odin Mini for a rifle setup, see how I like that. I’ve liked all their products so far so I figure I’ll stick with them.

I just use the S1R’s now. I had a baton 2 but I lost that at work. One my Emisar lights has been lost twice at work, and once in a hotel. I think the main reason I get them back is because people realize they would have to buy an 18650 battery charger to keep it. I just magnet it to things at work and then get excited to be going home and forget about it.

I really like that too. Just not enough to pay the olight tax.

I was really eyeing their Marauder 2 though.... Flood, thrower and a power bank in one. Would be an awesome camping/power loss light. Quite pricey at $260 on sale...

One of the reasons I don't get the small olights with magnets. I've lost 2 of them and it sucks ass.

Now I just go with 18650 magnet lights like the D4V2. Harder to forget and lose

They’re going to have a flash sale coming up on them in just under 4 days....

Just saw this thread... I  lights too.

Got a new one for Christmas, Fenix E35. Small, compact, no external charging port, battery itself has a usb C port for charging, and 3000 lumens.

I have this one for taking the dog out and spying out things in the night. Works well. Don't point it at your eyes.

Thinkin of buying this flashlight or a Streamlight. I also like the olight baton 3

1... You won't find 5000mah 18650s

2. Let alone for that price...

3. Right in the comments it shows they tested for 1200 mah, which sounds right for Chinese garbage 18650s.

4. They won't have high amperage ratings and are not designed for the high amps that high lumens LEDs require which will result in killing the batteries faster...probably why they give you 6 for the price of 1-2 good 18650 Samsung or LG 3200mah high amperage battery.

I wouldn’t play with cheap 18650s. I’ve really liked the Samsung 30Q’s that are 20amp and 3000mah. I’m looking now and it looks like they’re discontinued so I don’t know what I’d use next. I’ve had 10 of those 30Q’s and they’ve been great.

I'd go with any one of these models. He only sells the good stuff, never seen a cheap cell on this site and always have received quality stuff.

30q out of stock there too. For high drain 3000mah plus cells it looks like the Sony VTC6’s are the only thing anyone has in stock right now.

Lord Tin Foilhat Lord Tin Foilhat how are Nitecore batteries? I know you linked MTN above but Nitecore sells full flashlights and charging bricks and I'm not looking for a DIY thing. Just let me buy good batteries and good flashlight.

I found this light in a auction purchase basically a lease return. Has a case and all and super bright
