Threw the plastic on, rims and graphics should be here any day now, this thing is looking sick I can’t wait for the wheels, I need to mount the ignition box, and probably order a shock as the rear is pretty soft unfortunately the rear shock I want is another thousand bucks and 6-8weeks out

New rear shock, graphics on new rims came yesterday, have the rear on with the new mitas pit cross tire, unfortunately I cut my last 14” inter tube when installing the front tire on the new rim so I have to wait till tomorrow to finish the front

So I had to tear the Klx build back down due to a shifting issue with the standard pattern transmission, on the 3-2 down shift basically every corner on the track it would hit a neutral that didn’t actually exist, the only remedy for this was to switch the shift drum to a 4up pattern ware neutral is all the way at the bottom, but you have to split the case to get to it which sucks on a fresh build but I did it anyway as I want to race this bike and I didn’t trust it at all, here’s a few tear down pics, I did make one upgrade aside from the shift drum, I used a thinner cylinder base gasket to get the max compression I could out of this set up and I threw new rings in it

Before and after on the fresh new look for the old kx65, I do have some beast ass tires I’m going to put on it but dreading the tire install probably do that Wednesday or Thursday, I’ve never used any liquid method for graphics install but these were a real bitch so I tried it, I used windex and will never go back to dry vinyl install again, it’s a million times easier to install them wet with a heat gun and I used a foam wax applicator as my squeegee

in for videos!
I only got 2 videos all night unfortunately, I’m so bad about taking pictures and videos in the moment, she was off to a good night right off the bat with a 5th place out of 9 finish, in a group of all brand new bikes and super fast kids on them, she had a pretty good hole shot for a kid that just learned how to leave with a clutch 2 weeks ago

I use tb parts, or factory minibikes, or keystone cycle for pit bike parts, most of the china pit bike modes are copies of either a Honda 50 or klx110 so a lot of the parts are interchangeable, yours looks like a whole different deal if you know what that motor is based off of I could probably point you in the right direction
