Winter 3V Mods/Upgrades

I dont care what anyone says, LT's vs stock manifolds with aftermarket mid pipe, LT's win everytime.

What they're really trying to say is...their panties are in a bunch because they spent $1000 or more to have headers installed and only gain 25hp.

Its not like the LT's are making you lose power, so how are they a waste of money?

You aren't going to gain 25 hp over an off road mid pipe. The restriction is in the mid pipe and not the headers. The OEM manifolds flow very well.

Long tubes typically do not show significant gains in mild combinations which is why they are left until the later stages in the ongoing build process. Once combos get more radical with higher boost and people are trying to max out power levels, it makes more sense to add them.

Nooooowwwww how easy is it for lets say someone who sucks really bad with electrical systems to install a snow kit? Is it possible without completely fucking up by myself or should I request the help from someone who knows what they're doing?

Very easy to install even for novice. Just make sure you have someone who knows how to dial it in if your going to be meth dependent on the tune.

Alright cool. I got the whole setup used but the guy printed out new directions for it. Its just splicing the wires into the wires on my cars computer right? So going to need a wiring diagram for my car too?

Yeah I'm not going to have the kit spraying at all until I get the car retuned. Going to hopefully get headers on it make a really short intake tube instead of the mile long one and possibly bigger MAF and want a ballsyer tune then it has.

Well your not going to be splicing into any computer system. Pending on which stage you have 123, you will either use boost as a trigger or PW from a wire tapped off a coil pack. Go online to Snow performance and veiw the installation instructions.

Its a stage 2 run off boost. Has a dial at the back of the one computer modual thingy to change what PSI the meth turns on at and what PSI the meth systems cranking all the way. Then I also got a ignition control modual thingy? The thing that gives you a warning on if the systems not working right or whatever. He printed up the directions from the site for both of them. It's not perfect because its an older kit though but its got a bunch of wires which is the part I'm going to hate dealing with

Bump.

Any of the 3v guys make any changes recently?

So far I've switched from a Bullitt a/b to a Stainless Works 3" a/b, and went to an o/r xpipe.

Have my new over axle pypes, cmcv delete, JLT series 3 and new tune waiting to go on once i get my car back from the body shop.

Oh and i finally got a fancy adjustable panhard bar. Bought the Maximum Motorsports aluminum one. :csi:
