Snapped a half shaft, sucks - Anyone hook it up with a tow?

Now that Ford dealership is telling me they can have it tomorrow. I talked with two different guys. Something tells me I'll be getting a call saying there will be a delay.

What about just getting some from napa? Probably better quality.

I've read that guys that are lowered or have aftermarket axles are more prone to have them go bad.

Yeah, I'm probably going to avoid the track for a while. I'm still salty over my last experience. But those would be a must since it sounds like the factory assemblies aren't all that great. I just need to get the car up and running smooth so I can get it out of my garage.

If you took it to a track day which is 10x more fun instead of drag racing it, you'd have your stock axles in the car and be fine. Just sayin.

In all seriousness, I think tracking the car would be fun too. I'm sure auto-crossing a car takes a toll on stock parts too, just probably different parts.

Your insurance might cover some of a tow. I once left a car for the 4 days it took to be able to use AAA as a new member
