acceleration has NOTHING to do with gravity. Everything falls to earth at the same speed. We use gravity to calculate weight.
Um, gravity is causing the acceleration. WTF are you talking about?

it is the calculation because its falling yes, but acceleration is a function of time.
How much gravity affects your car when it accelerates?
acceleration is the measure of velocity with respect to time
....and im pretty sure im wrong too. but i dont care lol
ugh, gravity without any resistance IS acceleration. But we're talking about from 450ft. If an object fell forever to earth it will be pulled in by gravity at 9.81.
If you just multiply mass * gravity, that equals WEIGHT
Wait a second, I GOT IT! OK F=MA right? or in this case Force= Mass X Decelleration. The force of her hitting the ground is equal to her mass times the deaccerlation. deaccerlation is her hitting the ground here and slowing down to 0m/sec. So we need to know how long it took her to go from her top speed to 0 once she hit the ground.

Acceleration is a function of time. You need a time to calculate acceleration, which i assumed was 3 seconds.
