if you have the money get a GSR trans or a trans with lsd.

Did you get my PM about the LS chip?

Don't have the money for GSR trans yet :( I'll get one later.

I got an LS trans with EVERYTHING (Clutch, Pressure plate, flywheel, ALL mounting hardware, Starter, Slave cylinder, all sensors, all mounts, AND shift linkage for $430 shipped)

I like how the tarp is there...but not even protecting the backseat, lol.

Next time....since I guess it doesn't fit in the trunk of that car.....
.....pull the front passenger seat and lay it on the floor. ;)

Tarp is on the floor protecting the metal from being dented/scratched up (note that the seat bottom is folded up)

The back seat just had the IM resting against it.

If I put it in the front passenger seat floor, there is no way to secure it well in the focus, I buckled it up sitting in the back as it was, it didn't shift an inch the entire drive home.

you should keep that out on the front lawn. use it to chain stuff to that you dont want people to take

Lol, that was just a pic when we first got it out of my car before we wheeled it back to my shed (To lock it up)

Motor is in the car, and starts/runs, but the linkage isn't all up, the driver side axle isn't in yet (Need more mounting hardware) and I didn't want to run it for more than 5 seconds without the right ECU.

Nice progress! So how much more work do you have to do?

Few things need to be bought/changed mostly having to do with the fact that the engine was origionally an automatic, and now is a stick.

The shopping list is:

Shift linkage stabilizer bar bushing
new shift-linkage mounting hardware for under the pass compartment (all rusted out)
'dust cover' for the bottom of the transmission
the right bolts for the mid-shaft mount
PR4 or P75 OBD1 ECU (Or change out my chip)
MUCH wider rims/tires (Currently on P175/13/70's)
the right bolt for the top rear T bracket

Things to do before car is driveable:
Finish mounting up shift linkage
Mount up Driver side axle/midshaft
install dust-cover
install right ECU
Mount rear T bracket.

I plan on finishing next sunday weather permitting.

Oh, the car has DIY Solid motor mounts all around except for the driver side timing chain mount *Which has a metal housing already anyways*
