i think i may move the FP gauge to the cowl where the boost gauge is...that way i can thread the pipe through the cowl vent slots

got the radiator fitted, looks like ill have 1/16th of an inch clearance...or a radiator cap impression on my hood

got a nicer fuel pressure gauge

and i can still move it to the right another half inch or so
gotta cut the opening bigger and bend it in...if i do it right it'll be a nice seal against the core
more work to do lol

did a bit of cutting and modification but i got lots more room. now the rad cap should be 1/8th inch below the hood conservatively...i dont wanna clean off the cowl to test close it just yet

sure is alotta room in that corner

compressor will discharge 90* clockwise from where it is currently in the above pic. exhaust side is where it should be, its the best compromise...DD's idea to mount it lower than where i figured... wastegate has a couple routing options.
gonna have to notch the bumper for the spearco but it looks like the ic piping will be nice and easy except for the corkscrew into the throttlebody around the rad hose

and thanks to dd the DP ends up being a straight shot with tons of sparkplug/wire clearance...it has to make 2 jogs near the firewall but i will finally be able to use all the pieces of straight 3" i have laying around

A 3800 no, but turbo 6 cylinders (of the 7M variety) are pretty common in Cressidas. Either way, it's definitely a fun looking project that will be sure to turn some heads.

alot of those guys are actually skipping the 7m and either going 5m/6m with the older cars or just going straight to them 1**z/2*z bastards in it
but they literally have to aquire parts from a buncha different cars for the proper oil pans/bellhousings/trans/etc. its hard enough to find these parts inb cali much less out here in the rust belt where all the toyotas are rotted to hell lol

id rather have the 3800's tq so i can use my trailer hitch to drag hk/dd down the track

yeah its a stock turbo...dd wont let me have the nice one....its for when he wants to drop his crank
been workin my ass off for a paycheck to help cover new mandrel bends so i can just do the DP properly and just slap a muffle ron where the cat is.... which reminds me i gotta see if ray's mandrel bend axle loop he got recently will fit the wagon...save me a boatload of time
