From everything Ive heard (and John Hamm confirmed this in an interview this week)....very little CGI...all the aerial shit is real. They are also using "tech we've never seen in movies before", whatever that means.

This actually looks pretty good. Tom Cruise has become a FAR better actor than he was in the 80s/90s. Ed Harris is, of course, great too. I have some excitement for this.

Nice F-14 Tomcat in the closing seconds of the trailer...

He's flying an F/A-18 Hornet in this, the Navy's successor to the Tomcat after retirement in 2006 (after 32 years of service, of which it was 12 in the original Top Gun), yet they show the F-14 at the end.

And I always love videos of "cat-shots." Although being a trailer you don't get the full "deck-dance" that's done, just the signal to the catapult officer to coordinate between you and the shooter..
