Toppings add an additional variable. I've had solid pizzas that are totally ruined by bad toppings, and I've had bad pizza salvaged by good toppings. I don't want that to influence the pizza. Cheese is the best baseline for that.im curious why you're ordering straight cheese?
I grew up in NJ and MA, so I prefer Northeast-style pizza, it's the best. Doesn't matter if it's NY, NJ, MA, DE, CT, Eastern PA, lots of great pizza options. Locally we go to Jimmy's Pizza (Lincoln & Foster), it's pretty decent.

Piece is okay, but nothing that had me wanting to go back.Bru and Nomie, any other pizza places you guys reccomend in Chicago. I have also liked Piece Pizza in Wicker Park.
It wasn't all that expensive for a restaurant either. Like $7 for that 8".Ya, Id eat the shit out of that.
John's on Bleecker St was started by a guy that used to work at Joe's. It's supposed to be a Joe's knock off. It's like 1 block from Joe's.I always wanted to try John's on Bleeker Street, or Lombardis.

I'd rather drink bath water than eat New Haven style pizza.Don't think I've been to Joe's either good to know I see they have been around a while.
If y'all get up to New Haven CT we liked Sally's Apizza.
