I use 4WD in mine all the time, but then I'm pushing snow with it too.

If I get a 3/4 ton I’ll be pushing snow again for sure, I have access to a pair of Westin blades that are unused.

But I do make real use of 4x4, as mentioned even camping it is handy for the extra tractive effort. I actually use it backing my trailer in just to help shove the nose of my truck the right direction. Hard to describe but the my street/driveway in front of my house means at one point my trucks nose is nearly in the ditch and the trailers axles are at a downward incline the other side. Kinda Eiffle Towering across the road so the 4wd is nice there.

jokes aside i dont know why you don't find one of these.

PERFECT camper towin' rig.

Don’t really need a diesel, nor do I want something quite that old. I really rather have newer. I’d consider the 07 as it’s at least the newer generation truck and it’s a 3/4 ton.
