07 2500s were 4 speeds iirc.

i think we go over this every 4 months.

they are 4L80's which are still plenty stout especially with a 14 bolt behind it.

That one specifically has 3.73's so its only actually rated for 7500lbs, but with 4.10's it's rated for 9500, but its a good color combination and doesn't look beat to shit for the price.

im betting his camper is at least 2' taller than a stock 1500 burb.

7.3 deezul excursion /thread.

It's honestly probably a solid 3 foot, maybe more, but it does have a tapered front.

i mention the wind thing because my dad had a 1500 burb and with my work's 14' enclosed "tall" single axle trailer, it wouldn't/couldn't shift into 6th gear when towing...

Single axle would terrify me honestly, especially after having a blowout and not even noticing it until I got a phone call.

stout yes.

but say hello to 8mpg always.

on 3.73's I'd expect 12-15 unloaded honestly. My 03 seems to get 13 mixed, 17 highway unloaded, 9-11 towing.

My 04 Tahoe has 240K and I am in the same boat. Id love a newer Tahoe/Yukon. But I feel mine is pretty worthless on the used market even though it drives/runs like new. Buying a new one 2011+ would cost me $30,000+. The capability/towing and features are about the same and I probably still won't have a warranty.

Going to drive mine till it rusts away.

The 2016 and 2017 Lincoln Navigator L's can be had pretty cheap since they fully overhauled the new ones. The 16's and 17's are still really nice though for what you pay, thanks to Lincoln's awful depreciation.

Being a Lincoln, they come relatively loaded with options and have somewhat nice interiors.

why would a single axle terrify you?

what difference is it if a trailer gets a flat tire or your tow vehicle does? who gives a shit

heeeeeeeeeeelllll no.

4l80e 3.73 2500 burb is not seeing 15 mpg unless its idling on a trailer behind my truck as i tow it at 75 mph.
