I love that flooring in the front. The black car is on the back burner until spring. I'm scrambling to finish turbo fab work on my other fox so it can be running by summer.

I'm currently in the middle of a shower remodel, that's tile and supplies, pull and put on the Yukon engine, and the beetle chassis refresh. I'll post back in a week or so once I get the engine in and the shower finished. The beetle should be back on all 4s so I can roll it out and start wire wheeling it for some primer and paint.

mine are built around my leblond regal lathe and toolbox/compressor and furnace. bottom is sized to fit 3800 longblocks on the small wood 4 wheel HF dollies.

my wooden workbench got taken out for another toolbox and the milling machine.

my buddy Al has the menards shelves, nice units, sturdy compared to other units we looked at...but not nearly as customizable as wood and both have the same amount of "dead space" below each shelf where things have to fit under the beams but the room above it is unused

Same here. I roll transmissions and vw engines under the bottom, I make my own dollies though. Theres one under the beetle. They are built sturdy enough to hold a 4l80 and converter.

My garage is normally not a fucking disaster area but I caught the rona and have been spending a ton of time on 3 different projects while I am stuck at home.

Anyone have a recommendation for a space heater that wont make me feel like Luke Skywalker trekking through Hoth while working in the garage? Wasnt wanting to spend too much since my plan was to do a mini split next year (hopefully) that will take care of heat and AC. Even getting it to 40-50* would be welcoming.
