yeah both are solid free alternatives now. Even google docs is alright.

Excel is still top dog in my eyes. They just have the interface nailed compared to the free ones. Free ones still feel dated.

I will fully agree with that statement. More so they are my go to so I don't have to pay for office 365 on 3 computers at home

Still having problems. I get it downloaded, it checks for updates, then this screen pops up. If I start over, I have to redownload it all again.

I had that same issue when trying to upgrade a system at work from Windows Server 2008R2 to Server 2016 (basically the same as going from Win 7 to 10).
If I recall, it was because the system was missing the recovery partition or the partition was too small. I can't remember exactly which, but I do remember that I used a partition tool to fix the issue.
