your still salty that you can't hack it.......dont worry...we'll sho you how

I was in like my early 20's when you were going boners about the 80e.

In little over 3 years ill be 40.. and you still haven't made any damn real results worth a crap on the 80e front.

I think there has been like 3 elections.. 4 soon, since start gabbing about it.

I'm just tired of waiting for this "Game Changer" to be proven... :squint:

I figure'd Ben put in more actual time and real world work to find out
you can't make power on an 80e for long with the # of them he ruined.

So the fix is.. make weak power and good to go :p
I believe we have the solution but no time to do it. My valve body changes will help a lot. Ultimately there might still be weakness involved. Torque management slow boost ramp on, is what i should have worked on. With a quicker 1 to 2 shift i could have used 1st gear at low power vs using 2nd gear start with a shitload of torque.

Also just going to a good track this car wouod have easily made a 7s pass at medium boost not hurting anything.

I realized how bad our local track was this summer running our 600hp asphalt sled. Anything over 20 psi was a smoke. Show.. We ran 5.21 @142mph at 22 psi snaking down the track.

We then went to a decent track 5.0 @149mph right away snaking down the track. And tue racers from Michigan told us the track was slippery lol.... Milan same guys that ran 5.0s @149 too ran 4.6s. up there @156mph

Hopefully you get back to it one day...

Once the 80e thing "figured out" , love to see it applied in a single engine FWD setup making big numbers and see how long it
lasts hauling 3000lbs+ alone.

Fwd less. Traction would br rrally hard to break ona gutted lightweight 3.8...

Mine broke because i launched it in 2nd gear at 30 psi of boost. At 21 psi 8.3 @165mph easy pass woulf never break.

When i tried for 7s on my shitty track i had to launch it hard because it only hooks for 60 feet then its skate city...

At a good track i could ramp on boost slow and make it survive.

Also hurt 2 4t80e by accidently shifting to 4th. And last time was my shift controller shutting off at wot sending my trans back to 2nd gear at 140mph.

Twice i broke at 30 psi launching at about 40 feet in 2nd gear.
