Got a call from someone today regarding the job. Mulled it over with my wife and I think she is on board. I think it would be good for extra cash, and Im sure I wont have something going on every day as well.

I guess in our area, license plate bracket installs are yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge for Carvana cars. So it would be a lot of those I think.

license plate brackets are a newservice they offer, no experience on that as we do t have front plates down here by me.

Just got a random text about doing a front plate install.

Have you done one? Any idea on what it pays and what's involved in this aside from actually screwing on a front plate bracket?

What about timeline? Will they give me a timeframe to get it done (like do I have 24 hours to install it?)

Responded to the text asking the timeframe and the pay. I guess that will determine if I go do it.

OK, so the person texted me that she would be calling, had a quick conversation with her and she sent me some details. Interesting.

Need to read the docs she sent over and figure it out.

Looks like I'll need to buy a universal plate bracket and install it, send pics of the receipt and I'd get reimbursed for the bracket plus a flat rate for the job.

She also said for vehicle inspections, I'd need an OB Scan tool and that she would send me an Amazon link.

How in depth are you guys evaluating the paint, bodywork?
All depends on the car, I do have a paint meter but yet to use it. I have a good eye for paint, meaning matching , blending , etc… what I have inspected so far have been good cars and not junk.

Most customers just want a good second opinion on what they are buying sight unseen, I go above the recommended inspection and tell it as it is both in writing and pictures.
