Did she submit a borrowers defense claim?
This isn't the Biden/Harris forgiveness. This was a specific lawsuit started a couple years ago about a certain subset of for-profit colleges "lying" about job placement and salary after as a first year grad in the real world. The issue was people were going to those colleges based off the false claims. The people submitted borrower defense claims against said college's false claims, then Devos (under Trump) basically sat on the claims and never approved NOR denied them. It then turned into those same people who started the original claim suing the DoE (Betsy Devos) that their claims were just sitting in the abyss. Finally back in November the settlement was reached, a motion to stay was pushed by the defendants, and then finally a judge in February said "fuck you, pay up."
$2 billion settlement paid out by the colleges themselves. Getting mine from communist corpo college libs, son.
