Don't know it's expensive.

This was super high.

I paid lumpsum $2700 for 1200 gallons. That contract starts in Sept and runs though March or April.

But I will probably run out of gas around mid February and I'll be subjected to whatever the price is.

Could be $5/gal

I have propane
I mean that usually means most of your house should be on electric appliances. Stove, dryer, radiant heat etc. usually homes with propane don’t have everything run on gas

My dad has a tank, I think 250gal. The only thing it is hooked up to is the fireplace, which might get used once a year. Rest of house is electric.

They filled it 15 years ago when it was installed, still almost full.

I thought maybe it would be an alternate fuel for the heat pump or something in case of power loss. Nope.

That’s your choice then given where you live. I dated a girl who’s house was propane. Most everything in the home was electric because of the propane cost.

Would be like me bitching about gas prices but then buying a car that gets 2 mpg
