They have normal plant jobs also, but they go to the same training as the fire departments, I think they just don’t practice enough, most of them just do it for the extra overtime and have no clue what’s going on
Ridiculous

I snapped a few pics while out jacking around, it looks pretty bad when you can see what actually happened

the pictures inside the building are from 3 different levels, the third level is the one with the window opening but no window, it melted it out last night

also included a couple pictures of the column that was on fire from outside the building there’s tons of shit in the way scaffolding and pipes but you get the jist

2016 2500 all done up bell's and whistles 36k miles. Fuel system trashed....

Probably owes $35k on it still and it's going to need $11k fuel system.

Would this one have been saved by that $400 fuel pump bypass kit?

Yes, if in a Ford. Gm has a different inlet for the same pump. There are kits out there that advertise its for the gm version but I don't have experience with them so I can't say.

some plants have really good fire departments, we have a shit ton of equipment probably 100’s of thousands of dollars worth of trucks and boats, but no one that knew how to run it last night
I will say BP seemed to have their shit together when it came to security and fire. constantly practicing and actually using the trucks so everyone knew how to control the ladder. They had a ballin ass multi-million dollar new truck that was all controlled via a remote for the ladder/sprayer.

2016, so within a 5 year warranty likely if it was driving in 2015, but if fuel system falls under a 3 year warranty, likely out of it.

either way, i feel more and more comfortable with my gasser purchase.
Gasser definitely a win, a guy posted a 12.3 dragy run in the same truck as me with a few more mods last night on the high performance f150 page

So I got my sweet new dragy from tcg. And I'm going to waste a lot of gas with it I've decided.

Absolute hero DA but spinning like an absolute MOTHER FUCKER in auto 4wd, first out the hole then on the 1/2 shift and 2/3 shift. It's neat that it shows the 60 ft so you can see just how slow you are out the hole

This is just absolute mash the gas to the floor and hope. I tried to gas/brake but the truck stops all fun... Let's you only Rev to 1500rpm, regardless of how hard you mash the gas, then when you release the brake, the truck barely feathers into the throttle.

I'm excited to tinker with this further... Get the random tools, shingles, other building materials, etc and try to dip into the 13s being able to hook.

I found 4 hi sport mode with traction control off to be the hot ticket for dragy runs

oh shit that's likely a good idea.

auto 4wd on my truck likely allows a bit too much spin at first before it "grabs"

i did try a run yesterday in 2wd and it was stupid. had to completely let out of it because it was just a smoke show.

i want to take some shit out of my truck and make another pass at it. there's a LOT of stuff in my truck right now

I tried a hero run on a 1/4 tank of gas last week and it spun 4wd hard enough on the shifts to add a tenth to my previous best
