IMO it's the perfect time to get out. Bucs will have a lot of turnover for the upcoming season, tight on cap space with a lot of players becoming free agents this year, so why stay and risk going out on a low note because your team is brand new.

I don’t really see how it’s not true and he suddenly comes out and says I’m playing. He’s never been about stupid stunts so I doubt this was him doing this. So many big named places put this out there has to be some clout behind it. He had to have told someone credible he was for sure retiring.
