Absolutely. I hard wire my Xbox already for more stable connections. I would for this tv since the screen and quality require more bandwidth. My current tv doesn’t need the wires as its just standard HD

Well, seems you're about as informed as you're gonna be. Go to BB, stare at the tvs, from different angles, distances, different inputs if possible, and decide what your eyes like.

Well it would be more for the ability to play 4K movies or what not if we were not streaming. Since not everything you stream has caught up to 4K.

It’s not like the Xbox is going to drop in price over the next year or more, so it’s a safe purchase in my opinion. They may just need to work out some tweaks

Really that cord thing is game changing and every high end tv should have it. Literally 1 reason I know I’ll regret getting the LG. But from the looks of it the screen quality will make up for it

Went to the store, we both liked the OLED. Bought the 65 inch. Just mounted to the wall and fired up 4K grand tour. Holy fuck. Wow

Doing the tv update now. Its currently in standard the way it came out of the box. What do you use?

ISF bright or dark. Whichever looks better to you. Then turn off all the motion shit.

I normally run mine on ISF dark, but i've altered things a bit as well. One thing my eyes could never cope with was the white balance, most of the defaults go to like warm 2, which for my eyes, is just TOO warm. Whites just looked yellow, so i immediately swtiched those up to warm 1 or sometimes even medium depending on what im watching. Hockey tends to look better on medium cuz it makes the ice look so much whiter.

Idk if isf dark can be used while using the amazon app on the tv. It’s not an option. Honestly I like standard mode the best so far with the brightness turned down just a bit

Depends on what youre watching. If its something with hdr the modes change completely.

Yea it’s the grand tour in 4K off amazon. Isf Black or bright do not show up. Only the main modes and trucolor or whatever

I would assume this is in HDR

Hdr gets its own mode. Go with cinema or cinema home.
