One thing to note, if your gonna paint your cams, leave the inside of the housing near the glass alone, think it messes with the IR and night vision

It shouldn't. Just don't paint the glass. We spray paint cameras all the time. Usually black or dark green for hiding in trees.

Yeah they are stuffed in there pretty good to where even a little bit of the glass covered will effect IR light output. We teardown the camera and remove the guts and glass when we paint them to avoid getting any paint on the Lens, IR lights or glass.

Little bit of isopropyl alcohol should clean it off the glass, I'd take it out too if you don't want to worry about effecting the paint job
