Just put a new battery into the lawn tractor and changed the oil and plug. Probably take the deck off and quick once over of it all. Been soo warm even up here the lawn is starting to grow.

Thursday night, I changed the oil in the lawn tractor and spooled the trimmer with string. The grass is starting to turn green and grow, but I will hold off on mowing for another week. The ground is too soft from the rain we got last week.

Today I put down a pre-emergent and I fixed the ruts alongside the road. I don't have a curb, so delivery drivers sometimes pull off into the grass. It's annoying, but there isn't much I can do to stop it.

Gotta put a battery in my tractor too... I had to use my big Schumacher jumper all late last year because I didn't want to spend the money to get a new battery late in the season, and then have it sit all winter.

My grass is getting a little long in a couple spots, but the ground is still too wet at the front of my lot near the ditch. I'm going to hold out at least another week.

I borrowed my neighbor’s aerator and didn’t look it over well before hooking up to it. The tongue got bent and I decided it would be easier to just get a new one. I think it may have already been fucked up.

Picked up a new one from Lowes and discovered that it’s actually a significant amount of assembly. Got the thing together and did the majority of the lawn last night. Will finish it after work today. I wonder if it’s possible to over aerate.

Im in Mchenry and if it was warmer here I would have given my lawn a once over today. It’s super long in a few spots where I re-seeded it last season.

DEEZUZ I used the lawn rake today and was tired of it being a piece of shit. Lowered the brush to near minimum and raked it over like 5-10 times. The thing finally did a half respectable job. I think you have the same one and my guidance is to say fuck it and lower the brush more than recommended and plan to make some laps.

I dont remember if I asked this question or not, but has anyone rolled their lawn? Like used one of those heavy ass rollers to help level it? If so where did you get yours?
