I think once there is a real tune out and some actual other bolts ons integrated with that tune like a IC/downpipes/intake etc. I see this being a Mid 11 second DD or maybe even deeper in the 11s. I'm hopeful.
Correct. Not even a ECU tune. Hopefully those will be coming out soon. And that is someone else car. I'm waiting for all the mods to come out before making my choice what direction to go.
So this is exciting. They were able to get 455HP and 500TQ with intake/LAP3/muffler delete/cat delete/FMIC/93 octane. Still no real ECU tune available as of yet! Supposedly they are taking it to the track on 4/1 to see what it will do. Impressive it put down 340HP stock.
They are using a LAP3 which is some what similar to say JB4 in the BMW world. They obviously are using it to increase boost etc. But they have not been able to crack the ECU encryption. So there is no ECU tune on the market yet to take the car to full potential.
** On a side note JB4 are in the process of beta testing 10 Stinger GTs. So more fun to come!**
Gotcha, I've been eyeing one for my Flex...was sort of scared of them, but people say they're pretty safe and at least one of the major EcoBoost tuners is backing them. Plus warranty safe too
