As John mentioned, didn’t get them and kind of glad I didn’t. I feel like he could of come up with better means of attaching to the stock locations.

the plan will be to just replace with factory ones (not dorman) when I have the coolant drained for the cam swap which is now looking like early spring (wife will be driving my car for a few days and I’ve got other shit to work on over winter).

update for the mom lowered baja wagon, just did a 2500ish mile trip to the Chicagoland area and back without any issues other than I’ve got an older pulley making a bit of noise when cold. It also received an airaid MIT intake tube that I tossed on before the trip. Wife hasn’t mentioned anything.

I'd love to hear your take on the MIT if it's worth a shit. I want one but idk if it's just the ricer in me
It gets loud and throaty above 2500ish rpms. Was worth it just to ditch the annoyingly large stock tube and clean up under the hood. Dry flow washable filter is icing on the cake. Amazon had a $50 off airaid kits so bought it for $122 with dry flow filter. I sure if it’s still going on or not but take a look.
Also bought a CAI for the caprice and that sounds healthy as fuck.
