Struggled a little but still started. The blower for the heater cried a little.

Mine was a bit weak, but it started.

A co-worker of mine was not so lucky, we replaced the battery of his 93 MX-6 Mazda in the parking lot here at work cause he had to get a jump this morning.

lol, alright. Ive never really understood those. It just keeps the radiator from getting further cooled by cold air blowing on the front of the radiator while in motion?

Haven't gone anywhere today, but has been taking a little under a second to get started recently.

My car was at the end of the driveway, which means it gets all the wind that goes down our block. Car sounds like a sick dog barking, but a couple cranks and it fires up. I don't know what all the fuss is over. I have to walk about a 1/4 mile to get from the Harper parking lot to the door, but i wasn't feeling like it was going to kill me.

I do have the cardboard over 70% of my radiator. Have it under the grill but not touching the metal. Without it my temp gauge would only show about 1/4 unstead of the half for normal operating temp and my heat would never work.

it blocks flow to the radiator thus keeping engine temps higher

well....think of it this way, is your radiator doing its job sitting in dead stop traffic? as long as you dont completely block off the thing allowing zero air flow its not an issue...besides, you still have a thermostat regulating shit
