I went to Phoenix for Christmas and the stations down here are really sketchy. They're advertising $2.09 on the signs so I stop to fill up the FX and premium is $2.95. Wat?

It used to be midgrade was 10 cents more expensive than regular and premium was 10 cents more expensive than midgrade and then it bumped up 15 - 20 cents when prices went up but an 86 cent premium for premium? Are they pulling this in Chicago?

Where in Phoenix? They don't do that over here in the East Valley.

That does seem a little odd. The chevron where i normally fill up was like 2.59 a week ago for 91. I dont remembwr what 87 was tho. Cost me under 40 bucks to put 15 gallons in the gto. I dont remember the last time thats happened.

Since then prices have dropped as low as 1.99 at other stations for 87, which i COULD run in the st, but, no.

$1.99 down here. $2.25 for 91. Filled the Mustang for $28 on E.

Above is a quote from me from a few days ago. I don't think I've seen that big of a difference between 87 and 91 out here.

$.89 for E85 in Grand Rapids. Pulled this from a performance shop in GR on Facebook.

It's not that cheap here...yet

Tried to find an answer online the other day, but couldn't find a definitive answer. What are the cleaning properties of E85? Would it be beneficial to run a tank of E85 through, every few thousand miles on a FFV, to clean up the injectors, fuel system, and rid the tank of any moisture?

Probably not.

I was literally in your neighborhood. My wife's folks are in Goodyear so Estrella and Elliot. It was a Shell Station. I went back there this morning and regular was $1.99 and premium $2.75. So it's gotten cheaper. Maybe they're losing money on the same batch.

Haha, yeah that is kinda near me. I looked at an albertsons near my house when i was driving past today and and 87 was 1.93, and i think 91 was like 2.23 or 2.33, so thats still not even as much of a markup as that shell you were at
