I don't understand what the scoop is with diesel and I'm trying to figure it out. There are gas stations close to me that are $4.50 for Diesel 2 and there are others that are still $2.99. It's not a location thing and it's not brand specific. I don't know if some stations don't sell a lot of diesel and so they're still selling it from when it was expensive or if they're just gouging for the sake of gouging but gas varies by maybe 50 cents versus $1.50 for diesel. That's huge.

It is definitely insane. Over the w/e I was in Kankakee.
On I-57 it was like 2.77, a mile in town it was 2.54.
Like I said, now I check fuel prices before leaving, right after checking weather!!!!
I know up north the diesel was $4 something that same day.
There is no frigging way the rent or overhead is that much more they need $2 a gallon more to make the same profit?????????????
