Motor is dropped in. Got a pic of the dirty dingo adjustable mounts. They are slotted, so no messing with trans location.

Made some more progress. Squared up the motor, locked all the mounts down, installed the knock sensors and intake, bolted accessories up.

Tried to bolt the stock exhaust manifolds in place, but they have clearance issues with the frame. Will have to get some shorty headers.

We then removed the battery (going to relocate to driver side), and test fit the stock air intake. Damn near drops in. My buddy is going to modify the stock 04 bracket to work with my fender.

So she runs and drives now. Been driving her about a week. Definitely way better than the old 350

Still need to do:
Clean up wiring.
Finish wiring gauges.
Redo trans cooler lines.
Adapt factory oil cooler to the LS
Tidy up vacuum lines and such.

I’ll have to upload videos to you tube or something.

Small update:

Np241 has seen its last days.

First it broke a tcase adapter and almost fell out of the truck. Then, after spending 4 hours fixing it, my dumbass didnt see that the front drivesshaft slipped out a bit and it punched into the tcase when i got it on the ground from the lift and cracked the front case.

Couldnt find a used passenger drop 241 and everyone wants $1200 for a rebuilt one plus $350 core.

So, i found this for $1600:
Np205 and NWF ecobox doubler. Just need to swap the input shaft from my broken 241 into it and modify the 205 tail housing for a vss sensor.
205 is already modified for a twin stick.

This will give me 1:1, 1.96:1, 2.72:1 or 5.33:1 of triple stick ultra-low goodness that should never break.

Stay tuned for the fun of fabbing it all together.
