So did a tune up today. Found out why the CEL comes on occasionally...the O2 sensor is completely gone. Not even a bung for it on the exhaust. Once i fix that, should run flawlessly.

Fixed a leaky rear diff cover. Barely a qt came out.

I did confirm that it has a factory 4l80e (fucking score!). 1991 is the first year for the 4l80e.

Also lubed up all the hinges and adjusted the strikers. Doors are all smooth and squeak free.

Lastly...found that the retractable underhood light is still there and works perfectly. Amazing.

So i finally got around to picking up the factory grill and hood ornament from the previous owner. He's actually the guy who sold the truck to the guy i bought it from. Told me a lot of good info about the truck as well.

4/5" lift. RC springs up front, ORD 4" shackle flip and 1" zero rates out back

Swapping my ls1 into the truck (tbi/electrical issues are getting old)

And if i can find a dana 60 front for a reasonable price, i'll be doing that too.

Ok. Quick run down with pics since the last time you saw it.

In May we went down to Crystal beach outside of Houston for a long weekend to camp and bum out (my fucking Yeti was stolen though. Fgt's)

Around August last year i threw some cheapo Thunderer MT's (no, thats not a typo) 285's on it. Got them brand new through work for $116 a tire. Notbad.jpeg

Then took it to Off Road Ruckus at Texas Motor Speedway where i did the rock garden/obstacle course bone stock with just some cheapo tires. Made it all the way through but definitely fucked up the pinion in the stock 9.5 14b sf. Instead of fixing it, i found a paired 10 bolt/14b ff combo with front posi and rear locker and 4.56's for $400. Score.gif Swapped them in around Sept or so last year, in preperation for a wheeling trip that didn't.

Then just about a month after I bought 33's...i decided to lift it. Had I planned, better, i would have bought the lift and 37's instead.

In November, me and the woman went on a road trip to New Mexico to go wheeling in Las Cruces. Plan backfired the first day with the front driveshaft acting up. So we just explored some fire roads, camped in the desert, then proceeded to road trip around New Mexico (and jumped over the border into CO for some of the CO "attractions" StickyIcky.bmp).

BTW, it was fucking cold in the truck the first night. Dipped down to 17 degrees and 27 year old weather stripping doesnt hold heat for shit.
