Ford casting block and heads have gone like mid 5's @ 225mph years ago. What is the quickest stock cast LS head? Even ported?

Heads ya, but I think the block was billet. Ultra cars have issues with cracking yote blocks

Put a boosted Hayabusa engine in a geo metro or some shit. Do something that isn't done to death.

Been there, don't that. We put a CR125 motor on a stand up scooter. It was geared to do like 80mph. We called it 'Scoot-or-die'.

You may be right. I thought MMR had their promod and another car in the 5s. Before the switch to a bullet block. I think Gump went like 4.0 in a door car. I think the record he took was like 4.17. Billet blocks just make senss at that power level for reliability and consistency.

Even if not 5's, a few blocks in the 4.0-4.1 or 6.0-63 range.

Haley uses a Predator block. I doubt there’s a single factory LS block in ultra lol

Yeah I haven't looked at the Ultra rules lately but I'm sure they allow aftermarket blocks but maybe not billet. Louie, Farks pretty sure they both run Dart block, and Coulter too.
