Got IRS out of the car, have to say it's a lot easier if a job they I expected. Ordered up a set of DSS halfshafts (3wks out) and now I will start with the FTBR bushing install.

Seeing this makes me glad I had Drew put the FTBR kit into the IRS before I had it put into my car!

Yea, like inaid removal and installnof the IRS is fairly simple, now install all the bushings seems to be quite involved. I'm gonna give it hell but if it's breaking me down I will be dropping off to Drew.

Only thing I wish I would've done while it was out was maybe to have it powdercoated, but maybe I'll do something when it goes in for paint....

Is your catback 3" ??? I do need one but it needs to be a 3" catback...

No its 2.5", I went to ARH Longtubes with 3" mid and Bassani 3" Cat back.

My biggest concern now is trying to find wheels that I like in either 18x9 +45mm offset, or 18x8.5 +50mm offset....

I have some 18x9 +35mm offsets but I want to tuck them into the wheel well more so I can use a larger tire.

Thinking about doing the hardtail mod to open the wheel and tire selection up some more, but worried about the amount of NVH will go up, and think it's probably a better idea to have that area use a bushing anyway?

Yea I had Crown coat my K-Member and control arms, he also coated my charge piping on the F1-A, looks awesome.

Not really OCD about it, just not a fan of it sticking out like a sore thumb....

Might think about doing the Kenny Brown lower IRS arms too so I can get rid of the spring perch in the regular IRS lower....

I have always been a fan of KB products, on my 93' I had a lot of KB suspension components

There were supposedly some huge issues with their components early on but then they gave the fabrication of them to Heidts and supposedly the welds and builds are 100x better.

Well while the rear subframe and control arms are off to powdercoat I decided to take the time to polish up my new Bassani 3" cat back..... I am pretty happy with results.

So far the upgraded IRS will have DSS Level5 axles (another 3weeks for those to come in) FTBR bushing kit, adjustable sway bar end links, diff cover brace and bump steer toe links. Eibach sway bar, Ford Racing Diff cover.

Don't you need to take the whole exhaust off anyways to get the pipes off the hangers?

I guess it depends on the system, my Flowmaster I was able to remove from tail pipes up to mid pipe. The Bassani has a small pipe between muffler and midpipe, sonyour right I could see that being an issue. Was easy for me, took new exhaust out of box and away I went. I could have gone farther with wheel and made them like a mirror but I was tired.

While waiting for axles and powdercoating, pulled down tank, started installing hat with twin 465's, running supply and return fuel lines, wiring up new hat.
