That's probably exactly what happened. Since the rubber seal in the oil pan where the front cover sits was torn I tried using rtv to help it seal.

Thanks man! Do you have a book published somewhere or something. Haha. I have been messing with this car since I purchased it in 2003. You'd think I'd have learned this already.
