IIRC the JT is not the same platform as the JL. I'm curious to see if there are improvements in crash testing.

Didn't watch, but don't the Euros place an extraordinary amount of weight on shit like lane departure warning, auto braking, does it kill the pedestrians you run over, or just maim them, and all that shit? I was under the impression that's why it did so poorly in their testing, while stuff like how well does it actually hold up in a collision were pretty good....

I think I'd take a nice TJ Brute over the Gladiator though, depending on price point. It would be nice if they had an option with just a regular cab type deal. That plus a diesel and maybe longer bed would be nice IMO.

2 door, extended cab, and a longer bed? That could be interesting. But seems 4 doors are all the rage with trucks now. But they did have an extended wheelbase Wrangler in the mid-2000's. So maybe?

I have been interested in Wranglers for years. Always thought a Wrangler with a useable bed would be pretty great. Good towing ability as well? Ya, I kind of want. But as always, the price of these things are always why I have never seriously looked at buying a Wrangler. New or used.
