The lack of depreciation is the only reason I have half-heartedly thought of one.

The tow rating would be fine for my car on an open trailer. For the few times a year I might need that.

The build and price configurator is live

Looks like to get a mildly optioned Overland or a nearly fully optioned Sport S, come in the low-mid $40K range. I tried to price a similar Ranger XLT, which came in around $4-5K less ($39K and change or $42K and change for a Lariat). Basically heated cloth, 4x4, posi-trac rear, infotainment touch screen. The difference is the Gladiator is a manual (auto is $2K more or ~$48K) whereas the Ranger is obviously automatic already.
