I always bring it up but the fully loaded Rubicon Unlimited vs 2014 base Raptor pricing still makes me laugh to this day.

I mean shit, it's got 7650lb rated towing. That's perfect for the guys towing their kayaks and wife's purse around.

7650 lbs is plenty for 99% of anyone towing anything recreationally.

Looks like to get a mildly optioned Overland or a nearly fully optioned Sport S, come in the low-mid $40K range. I tried to price a similar Ranger XLT, which came in around $4-5K less ($39K and change or $42K and change for a Lariat). Basically heated cloth, 4x4, posi-trac rear, infotainment touch screen. The difference is the Gladiator is a manual (auto is $2K more or ~$48K) whereas the Ranger is obviously automatic already.
