No real updates from BB yet.
Over the weekend, while at Menards picking up a light switch for one of the kids rooms, picked out color samples in the Paint department to help decide on the color of the walls other than the wall with the screen. I also picked up another one of those cable pass through outlets for the center channel speaker.
Also we stopped at the local BB and picked up some UHD discs and while there, I picked up a 2 outlet Power Surge protector for the subwoofers. Went to install it and the way the outlet is, the 2 plugs are top and bottom. I have one of those plug in extensions that rotates the plugs, but it sticks out about 2 inches from the wall and I don't like the look of it. I thought about pulling the outlet out of the wall and trying to rotate the whole outlet, and while googling how to do that (never done anything more than swapping out 1 outlet for another one) I found this:
It's on the way, though when on mobile earlier this week, I only saw white/almond and now I'm seeing they have a black one, I think I ordered the white one, we'll see.
I'm hoping to get the back wall painted this weekend if possible. In the meantime, I'm pulling outlet covers off the walls where I can and patching holes in the drywall.
Plan is to put a fresh coat of ceiling paint on all the painted ceilings in the basement and do the back wall black. Then we can decided on the colors of all the other walls in the basement other than the bar area, that's a light grey and was just painted by the guys that flipped this house.
