Haven’t painted in awhile but I do spray paint at times. The snow blower leaks gas (hopefully fixed now) and when cnc plasma cutting aluminum it releases hydrogenwhy is that necessary, you painting cars?
So rather error on the side of caution

this ^80k is likely too much, and yes you can have too much. It will short cycle the heater if you go too big. Follow the sq ft recommendation for the heater.
i have a dinosaur at the shop. 100k, and that heats 2000sqft without issue. thats 16ft ceilings too40k BTU is enough for my 4 car garage. I would think 80k is overkill unless you have 1,200+ square feet with high ceilings.
50k in "2.5" car garageDid you get the 50k BTU? And how large is your garage?
Debating if the 80k BTU is worth the extra $50 for the heater and extra whatever for the piping
hell no. just get B vent. youll be fineDo I NEED stainless piping? I am at Menards now and feel like I can drop $300 on that shit easily
Wtf is a b vent?hell no. just get B vent. youll be fine
dont forget those mr heater things are forced exhaust, and its not as hot as a vertical non forced unit.
inspection? whos inspection? youre not pulling a permit for this, are you?Wtf is a b vent?
Any issues running this horizontal vs vertical?
Now kind of thinking I don’t want snow and shit to fall into it if horizontal. And if I go vertical it may heat that part of the attic next to the kids room which is always cold so it may help. So either go through a brand new roof or brand new siding...hmmmm
Wife won’t care as long as it’s not ugly and passes inspection and code
