A lot of people realize this far too late. Good on you for not blowing out your back/knees or turning a pec into a window shade.

I'm a big functional strength kind of guy, working on form and being able to do lifts without belts or wraps, core strength. I go up to 315 on the big 3, but rarely any more than that. My thing is cycling between light (10-12 reps), medium (6-8) and I will occasionally do heavy (1-3) if I feel like I'm on a plateau, and changing up what I do on specific days every month or two.

Have had several blood tests and heart tests including EKG, 2D Echo, stress test, and carotid doppler (2 main veins than run from your heart up your neck to your head). Every test checked out fine, no cause for concern at all. All my heart tests were read by a Cardiologist and relayed to my Dr. My Dr has no fucking clue at all as to why this is happening. He said it could very well be the heat or my body just telling me no more squatting. If it continues he suggests I go see a Cardiologist who will take it a step further on the tests.
So my plan is no squatting for a few months, and I'm going to cut back down to about 215-220 currently at 260lbs. Once I cut the weight, I will squat and see what happens. Sucks cause I wanted to try and hit 405lbs on a flat bench by March, not gonna happen if I cut weight.
What's your blood pressure? And what's your carb/calorie intake on days that you do legs?

I also suggest not squatting and deadlifting in the same day, those are the two hardest compound lifts.

I'd always get lightheaded when i was in a calorie deficit. Hell when i did a competition (5+ years ago) if i'd sit up too fast my vision would start to go black. naturally low BP, low body fat, and ridiculously low carbs don't go well together

sidenote: lifting to constantly increase your 1 rep max is dumb IMO. you're going to hurt yourself, and frankly nobody cares what you lift.

I lift strictly for building muscle by increasing time under tension. My legs get WAY more sore squatting 6-7 sets of 225 with slow reps and pauses than they ever did squatting 365 just to look cool

Blood pressure is where it should be, Dr had no concern about that.
I dont eat clean in any way, shape or form, lol, I'm more in to portion control vs eating clean especially when I decide to cut. Wasnt really in a huge calorie deficit while this was happening. I usually eat between 2000-2500 calories per day, closer to 3000 if I do any cardio. I average 175-225g of carbs per day and believe me nowhere near low body fat, lol.
Been lifting/squatting for about 4 years and didnt make any changes at all that would have brought my near fainting issues on. Been eating and doing the same shit.

Been told by about 4 different people to go see a Chiropractor. Thought is my spine/back can be out of whack, and bar placement while squatting could be hitting a pressure point. Called my Dr and he said go for it, cant hurt and he has seen weirder shit than that, lol.

When you recover from the fainting feeling are you seeing any types of flashes(purple spots or lightning flashes similar to welding flash)?

It might be low blood sugar along with low blood pressure.

I was on blood pressure medicine due to high blood pressure and after working out for 6 months or so i started getting that going to pass out feeling after lifting heavy, my vision would actually start to go fuzzy, turned out my blood pressure issue was fixed with all the weight lifting and crossfit I was doing and it was getting too low because of the bp meds, ive been off blood pressure medicine for a year now with good results

Ok gym bros, edumacate me on supplements. I have been back at the gym for 2 years now and in overall good shape, especially in summer when I was detailing and burning more calories. I am looking to take it up a notch and cut the extra few lbs of fat on my waist. I have started the keto diet and am down 7 lbs. Probably another 5 lbs of fat loss and I will be where I want. I can usually get to the gym 3 times a week for about 1 hr workouts. I am eating 20-30g net carbs, ~ 1500-1700 calories, and 150-175g protein. I take ON amino energy before my workouts.

What can I do better to put on muscle after i cut theselast fat lbs?

Best thing I ever did supplement wise was to start taking Casein protein with crushed flax seed at night, right before bed.

Keeps your metabolism going over night because it's a slow burn protein and the flax scrubs the shit out of your body (literally), provides extra weight loss and I think lends to a cleaner body over all.
