that was definitely the best part of this thread. nice one.
you really need to start logging what you are doing eagleman (i've got something for YOOOooo.....sorry)
1) it provides motivation as you can see the gains in weight or reps
2) it allows for you to create a plan (come on turbo fabber...you have to plan everything out first before you go out and play right?)
with your time constraints...it'll be hard.
my opinion: stop using the assisted lift machine (the smith machine).
1)the one at the gym i go to has a lighter bar than normal
2) its fake strength...sure you can put up higher weights, but it doesn't strengthen your grip and forearm strength (balancing)
3) it doesn't help with your shoulders (stabilizing the bar above your chest)
all of that combined will get you so much better results even if you do 150 pounds less. i guarantee it.
start doing lifts on the ground if there is no bench, cross your feet and put your knees in the air...try and make your back as flat as possible
and IMO chest is the most useless part of your body. but that's just me, and could be because chest is my weak spot and i have to bust my ass for 3 hours just to get a decent workout (i guess us desert people are made for endurance and not outright strength...in terms of chest at least. my back shoulders and legs are full of camel power!)
good luck and props to you for trying to better yourself.
