Just some info for people considering vented vs. non-vented. It was 14 degrees outside last night. My ventless infrared heater kept my garage at 62F with a relative humidity of 32% not even breaking a sweat.

You never even made it into the game with your halfassed death trap you call a heated garage.

Maybe learn to use a plumb bomb like a real man and install your hvac equipment the correct way.

Personal attacks, awesome. That takes some class. My heating setup was recommended installed by a HVAC professional.

Please do tell what makes it a death trap. I'm "dying" to know.

You: "I get no harmful byproducts with my ventless"

You: "99.99999999% efficiency!!!"

You: "It's legit because it was installed by a *pro*"

Also you: "I have to open my garage door frequently to vent it"

Sorry it's just too damn funny you want to act so knowledgeable and mighty about the subject when you couldnt even install a ventless heater on your own.

Hey, a "pro" recommended it! Appealing to authority is always the business class ticket for deflecting ones own ignorance.

Have fun

Are you that immature that you need to resort to personal attacks over a garage heater?

You realize people are allowed to have other opinions than yours, right?

Just gas. It has a standing pilot and heats via convection

Not to poke at his install but I think you need more clearance off the back?

Where did you install? Which way I should it pointed? Where is Thermostat?

It's on unistrut with flexible conduit and gas, looks like he can slide it forward a few inches if needed. Just would need to work a little vent pipe. They recommend 18" on the 50k unit, not sure which one that is?

Looks like the thermostat is to the right out of the picture, you can see a wire going into a conduit run.

My Williams direct vent 33K BTU heater is by far the best choice in my opinion. simple installation and keeps the garage 70* without issue and no worries about ventless buildup.

Mine is 18” for my 45 He has the 50 I believe.... trust me I fudged that 18” a little but his appears to be as close as you can get it to the wall.

I see it’s down that wall but I don’t know his garage well enough to know where that goes. Hoping he put thermo stat on the warm wall.
