Default My 04 goat mods. (Pics too)

I was going to keep it a secret but what the hell. There is no fun in hiding my fun.

Mods are: Kooks 1 33/4" LT's, catless mids, corsa sport, K&N cai, 243 heads, 228/228 .588/.588 114 cam, chromoly push rods, dual springs, dual chain timing set, fast fuel rails, walbro 255 pump, 8.1L fuel bucket, stage 5 4L60E from RPM transmission, 3,000 stall, custom tune by Justin at Modern Muscle, and a little happy ending.

Near Future mods are: 1000 hp GForce stubs and half shafts, pedders track 2 suspension, possibly TH400 trans (even though the 4L60 only has about 500 miles on it, I want to go bigger), I need to find a drive shaft that will work if is switch transmissions, and then I have a lot of appearance mods that I have to do.

These mods have only about 500 miles on them right now, so the rear held up fine so far. As soon as it comes out in the spring I will have the Half shafts and Stub axles waiting to go in. The stock pumpkin should be good up to about 900hp so I'm not concerned with that just yet. I'll probably go with a Harrop diff cover when I do the gear swap but that will be it for the drive line for now.

The only problem that I had with the drive line parts was my trans blowing up on the first pull on the dyno. That's why I went with the stage 5 from RPM, but I have the option on a steal of a deal on a TH400 so I may go that route.

Yes, the stubs and half shafts that are coming are part of the GForce wheel hop solutions. I won't hold my breath though. The first time that I got into the nitrous I actually broke the tires loose at a 60mph roll.

those n/a numbers surprise me a little bit, but you are an auto, so that could explain it

The tune is also very conservative N/A, that's why I gain a lot off of a 100 shot of nitrous. And figure about 20% drive line loss through a stalled auto.

Do you run a single tune? That's what sucks about nitrous cars. If you run a single tune, you have to give up quite a bit NA.

Yes it is only a single tune. With the heads and cam that I have with supporting mods I could easily be over 400whp, with the car built for nitrous I'm only seeing 387/348. That is why I pick up so much off of a 100 shot. I gain almost 200ft/lbs of torque. Thanks for the compliments also.
