There’s stock converter roots blower coyotes in the 8’s it makes so much tq down low it flashes the converter a lot higher than a stock stall

This winter maybe, I’ll see how these last couple suspension mods treat me, but as of now it’s on a stock converter, I want to see a 1.3 60’ on the stocker first also

Observation - Never seen KJ hype his Grand Prix. In fact, he was pretty humble about it and actually called it a shitbox or something close to that way back when.

I thought it was a sweet car when I ran into him years back in Wauconda Route 12 i n my tree valve.

Turbo cars have a harder time making boost on the stock converter. The turbos are usually too large, the stall is too tight, the brakes don't hold well enough, and the relays to make the trans brake usually do not hold well once put on the converter hard. If they can leave hard on a stock converter I am sure it is not easy.
