Those power wagons are awesome. But what is really interesting me is the tradesmen trim level with the chrome package, and a slew of other options for under $30k.

PS, the 6.4 has pretty decent power. The ride isn't terrible either, just typical stiffness of 3/4 ton.

1. you get used to it really quickly.

2. i don't think many if any HD rams have that.

Only 8 speed 1500's get the dial. Also who gives a fuck, it's used to select a gear. Never understood the outright hate.

In the Pussy Wagon the dial is used as a diff locker. I have such feels for a '17 PW.

I can get a 2500 SLT with the 6.4, 8.4 UConnect, RamBox, front/rear park sense/rearview camera, and all the bells and whistles minus leather for around 41 after all rebates and whatnot. If I even look at a Laramie it's 50+ all damn day.

RamBox is fucking cool. Keep shit neatly separated and out of the way while still having a full bed to use. I see zero negatives.

It varies based on the warranty level you choose and the model. There is anywhere from Maximum to only powertrain.

It goes up the closer you get to the end of your warranty which is pretty fucked up now that I think about it with an unlimited. I can see that with a time/mileage based, no point with unlimited though.

Also that was for maximum, bumper to bumper unlimited. The only thing they don't cover is cosmetic stuff and wear items like brakes and tires.

I'm getting discouraged in my hunting for a CCLB because I haven't found anything worth looking at for a few weeks. The other thread for finding pickups under $30k has peaked my interest. I'm very seriously considering driving to Idaho to trade off my f150 for a new ram 2500.

For those that have experience with the 6.4, what's it like? I've googled til my fingers have fallen off, and can't find a single torque curve from Chrysler. Does it have decent low-end torque, or does it like the high rpms like most gas motors? I pull about a 6k lb 8.5x20 enclosed trailer. Occasionally I also pull anywhere from 10k-14k skid loaders or 6k-10k in cattle.

Once I get a chance, I'll have to go drive one locally, but I don't have that much time for that right now.

lol. Just had to point out, at 6:41, what looks like a powerstroke pulling a small camper goes blasting by them on the driver's side. The guy driving gets a nervous look on his face a few seconds before when he looks in the sideview mirror.

I know in those tests they don't speed so comparing to traffic doesn't count. You need to find the Ike test for that ford and see how it does.

I really like their videos. But I don't think it's too relevant to what I do. Pretty much all my pulling is from 1000' to 2500'. A na motor is going to act quite a bit different at 9k-11k elevation.
