Those power wagons are awesome. But what is really interesting me is the tradesmen trim level with the chrome package, and a slew of other options for under $30k.
1. you get used to it really quickly.
2. i don't think many if any HD rams have that.
We have no need for his non-brand bias ******ry.Tradesman is good shit. Outlaw needs to get in here.
The 6.4 HD Hemi Thread - DODGE RAM FORUM - Dodge Truck Forums
buncha in the thread. Dude saying 6.4 roasts the Ford 6.2, not sure about Raptor 6.2 though. If the 6.4 is as good as he believes, the Raptor will be gone when I find the right truck.
Yaj Yak Apparently even RAMs have 3rd brake light issues. FUCKING JUNK. ALL JUNK
I can get a 2500 SLT with the 6.4, 8.4 UConnect, RamBox, front/rear park sense/rearview camera, and all the bells and whistles minus leather for around 41 after all rebates and whatnot. If I even look at a Laramie it's 50+ all damn day.

Can the unlimited warranty be added anytime as long as the factory warranty isn't up?
Yes. Just got a quote of $3,400 to add it to my Ram. I'm at 31,000 miles.
I may or may not have put a call in to find a Power Wagon Tradesman a couple days ago... unlimited warranty has got me feeling some kinda way. Gonna continue the hunt once I'm back in civilization.
I thought in the other thread it was $1500? Or does the cost go up if you don't buy it right away?

I'm getting discouraged in my hunting for a CCLB because I haven't found anything worth looking at for a few weeks. The other thread for finding pickups under $30k has peaked my interest. I'm very seriously considering driving to Idaho to trade off my f150 for a new ram 2500.
For those that have experience with the 6.4, what's it like? I've googled til my fingers have fallen off, and can't find a single torque curve from Chrysler. Does it have decent low-end torque, or does it like the high rpms like most gas motors? I pull about a 6k lb 8.5x20 enclosed trailer. Occasionally I also pull anywhere from 10k-14k skid loaders or 6k-10k in cattle.
Once I get a chance, I'll have to go drive one locally, but I don't have that much time for that right now.
