That's up there with some serious cars. Obviously kinda unfair to compare cars that aren't even on the same tires but still crazy for a FWD car.

Pretty damn impressive when you consider that all of those cars have around 200 or more horsepower than the Type R.

The wife and I are actually most likely buying a civic hatch as a daily driver. They are waaaayyyyy nicer than my old 07 SI. You'd be surprised if you knew nothing about them and went to test drive one.

It Looks Like the 2017 Honda Civic Type-R Will Cost $33,900

Earlier today, the folks over at CivicX.com published a photo of what looks to be a window sticker for a US-market Civic Type-R. The sticker reveals the car's base price—$33,900 before destination—near the top right of the photo.

Along with the sticker photo, CivicX.com also included several pictures of new Type-Rs sitting in a parking lot with delivery paint protection covers, leading us to believe this is the real deal.

The $33,900 price would put the Type-R up against cars like the Subaru WRX STi and Volkswagen Golf R while slotting it below the more expensive Ford Focus RS.
